The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), will on March 29th, 2008 officially recognise and honour Prestige Accounting Bookshop & Accountancy College for its recent achievement on being the awarded Gold Status under their Approved Learning Partnership (ALP) programme.

The ALP programme provides accreditation to colleges, universities and institions worldwide that offer the programmes of the ACCA, and is an effort to highlight those providing high quality training resulting in results, deemed to be in line with ACCA's worldwide pass standards. Students and trainees are expected to be able to use the programme as an international guide to recommended colleges and institutions.

The programme also requires accredited bodies to meet a range of other performance and operational criteria for continued accreditation. As a fundamental aspect of the acccreditation programme, institutions are required to undergo an annual visit and inspection.

Prestige Accounting was the first college in the Caribbean to attain the coveted Gold Status.
